
Rice cracker snack with Castello® Chili & Ginger Cream Cheese
A rice cracker (or a rice cake) in itself might not seem very interesting but accompanied by various garnitures, we assure you that it will become one of your go-to snacks for any occasion! As a bonus, most rice crackers are gluten-free so they can be used as a good alternative to regular biscuits and crackers. They are also a good substitute for bread. Follow our recipe or think creatively and make up your own ideas for tempting rice cracker snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 Castello® Chili & ginger cream cheese ring
- 4 - 6 rice crackers
- 100 g toasted, salted peanuts
- 100 g snap peas
- pickled red chillies
- shiso sprouts
Preparation
1. It is very simple and does not require much preparation. Arrange the crackers, pickled chilies, peanuts, sugar snap peas, and shiso sprouts in small bowls.
2. Place everything on a wooden board, together with a Castello® Chili & Ginger Cream Cheese Ring.
3. When you are ready to eat, spread some cheese on each cracker and enjoy it with the various accompaniments. A delicious indulgence of multifaceted flavours.

Serving Suggestion
This snack can also be packed for an outdoor picnic.

Tips & Tricks
Use leftover rice to make your own rice crackers. Mix with salt, olive oil, and any other flavours you like in a food processor. Blend until it all comes together like a dough – you might need to add a little water. Roll the dough into small balls and flatten. Bake in the oven at 180° C until slightly golden and crispy.
