about

Welcome to a worldwide favourite. Castello Danish Blue Cheese has a fine, nutty, blue mould aroma with hints of marzipan and a soft bitterness of sourdough, making it a favourite for cooking and snacking. Castello Danish Blue cheese has blue mould veins. It was inspired by Roque-fort cheese but made using homogenized cow's milk, which contributes to its strong ‘bite’. How-ever, the cream in the milk perfectly balances the sharpness.
