ingredients

  • 4 pizza dough
  • 200 ml creme fraiche
  • 150 g mozzarella cubes
  • 1 Castello® Mild blue cheese
  • 4 figs in slices
  • 100 ml toasted walnuts
  • 30 g rocket salad

preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 250°C (conventional oven) with a pizza stone inside.

2. Roll out your pizza dough.

3. Spread crème fraiche on the pizza and place mozzarella cubes on top.

4. Bake on the preheated pizza stone in the oven for 5-10 minutes or until the edges are crispy and the pizza has a nice golden colour.

5. Top the pizza with blue cheese, figs, roasted walnuts, and rocket.

Tips

One of the best tips for a perfect pizza is to make sure everything is piping hot before baking it. Make sure to preheat your oven before baking the pizza, preferably with the pizza stone already inside. If you do not have a pizza stone, use a baking tray. Both the preheated baking tray and pizza stone will ensure the crust gets crispy and golden brown and the pizza bakes evenly.
